Our representatives in Congress have one chance to pass a desperately needed federal law aimed at creating green jobs and reducing global warming pollution.

We have one day left to speak up and make sure they pass it. The House of Representatives is voting tomorrow. We must speak up TODAY.

We know one thing for sure – our country can’t afford to wait any longer to tackle this problem. We need the jobs offered by a clean energy economy, and scientists have made it crystal clear that the “wait and see” approach has devastating consequences.

The American Clean Energy and Security Act¹ will decide our policy on global warming and will weigh heavily on the negotiations later this year for an international treaty on global warming.

The science is urgent and the world is waiting. Congress needs to step up and deliver the strongest climate bill it can produce this year. It won’t be perfect but after decades of denial and inaction we need to break the deadlock. We need Congress to fight for the best bill possible and deliver without further delay.
