Rep. Hilda Solis (D-CA) calls in at 7:30am to talk about the 19 days we have left until the November election.

Frangela joins us in studio at 8:30am to talk about their upcoming shows in Los Angeles, and for another edition of “Fridays with Frangela!”

The GOP launched an enormous wave of phone calls yesterday blasting Barack Obama for “having worked closely with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers,” party sources said. The calls are part of a $70 million last GOP push to get out the vote for John McCain.

President Bush today will give the U.S. a more detailed explanation of what the government is doing to battle the worst financial crisis in more than a century. Officials say Bush doesn’t intend to put forward any new policy actions.

Sarah Palin is scheduled to travel to NYC tomorrow for an appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” sources tell CNN. It’s unclear whether Tina Fey, who’s played Palin in 3 sketches this Fall, will appear with her.

Appearing on “The David Letterman Show” last night, John McCain apologized for skipping out on a scheduled visit late last month that Letterman later made the subject of an ongoing joke. “I screwed up,” McCain told Letterman more than once.

European markets have moved higher this morning, taking their cues from the Dow Jones’ 400-point rebound yesterday.

    Thanks for all the hard work. I am an electrical contractor trying to become a glass artist. I have made the kind of money that Joe the Plumber is talking about. I don’t know if any one has mentioned this, but gross business income and taxible income are two different things. So if you had gross sales of $250,000 your taxible income less business deductions will be far less. So it did not make sense to me even if he was on the level.
