  1. The United States looks very foolish to the rest of the world, because Americans seem to fear anything unfamiliar, incliding something like single payer healthcare, which would benefit everyone. I lived in the Czech Republic (formerly Czechoslovakia), as a child and greatly benefitted from the so-called “socialized” healthcare. At the age of twelve I moved with my family to Canada and had absolutely no problems with that system of healthcare, and my mother, who recently retired is very happy with it and trust me, no one is trying to kill this “granny”, so stop being so affraid. As FDR said “the only thing to fear is fear itself”.
